Swansea City Sign Edgar on Loan
Swansea City have signed David Edgar on loan from Burnley, subject to Football League approval.
The move was completed late on Monday night just as the transfer window closed shut at midnight. The loan window re-opens next week.
Edgar played in 5 games for the Swans last season whilst on loan under former boss Paulo Sousa and he'll give Rodgers some extra defensive cover with Garry Monk and Neil Taylor both out injured.
The 23 year-old won't be available on Tuesday night for the trip to Bristol City but he'll be able to play in Sunday's big derby match at home to Cardiff City.
Edgar has found it difficult to get a regular place at Turf Moor, having played only 6 matches for Burnley since returning to his club after joining the Swans on loan last March.
