Rodgers Would 'Consider' Scotland Loan Signing

Brendan Rodgers said he would 'consider' signing Jason Scotland if he became available on loan.

There have been strong rumours this week linking the Ipswich Town striker with a return to the Liberty Stadium, and the Swansea City manager hasn't ruled out the possibility of signing him.

But it looks like the only chance of seeing Scotland back in a Swansea City shirt this season is if he's available on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Rodgers said he'd be interested in bringing him in on loan:

'Everyone knows Jason's qualities,'

'And if he became available for a loan, we would have to consider him.

'There was a possibility of buying Jason last summer, but we didn't have the finances to do that.

'I haven't spoken to anyone at Ipswich about him but, if he was going to go out on loan, he is certainly someone we would have to look at.'

Would you like to see Jason Scotland back at Swansea City? Are you encouraged with our performances despite our lack of goals?

Surely it's got to be worth a loan until the end of the season--- if he scores 5 or 6 it's more than any of the current players are going to get, cyjax??
