'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Swansea City Sign Midfielder Ryan Harley

Swansea City have signed Exeter City midfielder Ryan Harley on a free transfer.

The 25 year-old will remain at Exeter City on loan for the remainder of the season, and will join up with his new club and team-mates in the Summer.

Harley has signed a three and a half year deal at the Liberty Stadium. He spoke of his delighted to join the Swans:

'It's been a tough couple of weeks with all the speculation,''

'There were a lot of teams interested in me, which was nice, but I'm delighted to sign for the Swans. I just felt that Swansea was the right club for me.

'I've got a job to finish at Exeter and then I can't wait to get started with Swansea next season.''

Brighton & HA also showed an interest in Harley last year but they failed with a 400,000 bid.

He has scored 21 goals in 9 League starts for the Grecians, 6 of which were scored this season. He has also netted 5 other goals in Cup competitions in the current campaign.

Harley's signing is Rodgers' second arrival in the space of 24 hours following Britton's return yesterday. The Swansea manager is also looking for a defender and a striker before the transfer window closes.
