Britton In Swansea For Talks?

There are strong rumours today suggesting that Leon Britton is in Swansea today to discuss a return move to the Liberty Stadium.

Rumours started nearly two weeks ago that Britton was set for a return after an unhappy spell at Sheffield United.

The midfielder left the Swans in the Summer as he fell out with former boss Paulo Sousa, but speculation soon spread that he regretted leaving the club he joined 7 years ago.

Rodgers is a fan of the former West Ham United player and he said he was disappointed he couldn't work with Britton when he was appointed as Swansea's manager last Summer.

It's also reported that new Sheffield United boss Micky Adams is willing to let Britton go to free up some of the wage bill.

Watch this space...but it looks likely at present that Britton will be back in a Swansea City shirt this month.
