'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pratley Explains 'T' Celebration

Darren Pratley explains what his 'T' celebration meant after scoring the opening goal in yesterday's 3-0 home win against Crystal Palace.

The midfielder made a 'T' sign with his hands after he sidefooted Sinclair's cross into the net just before half time.

With Pratley's Swansea future in doubt and talk of a move this month, we speculated whether it was transfer-related or not, and manager Brendan Rodgers even joked:

'I joked with him in the dressing room after the game about his celebration. I said it doesn't help him when he runs to the camera and produces a T. Is T for transfer?''

Pratley said the 'T' was for his brother and his mates' Thursday club:

'The T was for my brother and his mates,''

'They have a Thursday club with poker nights and things like that.

He wanted me to wear a t-shirt, but I don't like wearing anything under my shirt. So I gave him the sign T for the Thursday club instead - he'll be happy with that.''

I thought it was T for transfer at the time. Not the best thing to do as I'm sure all the fans thought that?
