New Kit Revealed...But Delayed

New Kit Revealed...But Delayed

Due to shipping problems, next season's new shirt will not be going on sale today as expected.

Swansea City Football Club were hoping to put the new shirt on sale from this morning at the club shop and at the Debenham's store but shipping delays beyond the club's control have delayed the release.

NEW KIT UPDATE

A club spokesman said: "The shipping firm told us the container would be arriving on Thursday. Then it was put back to between 6pm and midnight on Friday.

As a result we sent a courier up to their Hertfordshire base to pick it up. The shop staff were then due to come in at 6am to get the kits on the shelves and into Debenhams by 9am.

First the courier told us the kits weren't on the ship, then it emerged the ship never actually left Hanover in Germany.''

pparently everything was on stop in Germany because of some tournament called the World Cup.

he ship was due to leave Germany at the same time the Germans were playing Argentina in the quarter-finals. It never left.

Can't believe it, it's exactly the same as the 05/06 kit, the away 1's quite nice though.
