Moore Looking To Kick-Start His Career

Moore Looking To Kick-Start His Career

Luke Moore says he's looking to kick-start his career at Swansea City after a disappointing two years at West Brom.

The 24 year-old striker was an exciting young prospect at Aston Villa and that attracted West Brom to pay £3m for him two years ago, but he has struggled to earn himself a regular first team place at the Hawthorns.

Moore made his debut yesterday in the 4-0 FA Cup 3rd round win against Colchester United, and he said:

"All I can say is that as this point in my career and having had two seasons where I haven`t really enjoyed my football, getting back to enjoying my football is my main priority.

"I just want to get back to playing with a smile on my face and scoring goals to help the team.

"The team`s done great so far so I am just wanting to help."

"As soon as I came down here last week and met the chairman and the manager I always wanted to come here,"

"No club made it as clear that they wanted me as Swansea did and that`s the main thing.

"Swansea are a great team who play good football.

"The fans are very football minded here. They understand you can`t just whack the ball forward all the time.

"They are football people, which in the English leagues is quite refreshing.

"It`s great place for any young player to play football and it`s proven that with the players who have done well here."
