Easter Wants Permanent Swansea City Move

Jermaine Easter is hoping his loan move to Swansea City can be made permanent.

The striker joined the club from MK Dons on loan and he scored in his first start for the Swans as his goal yesterday gave us a 1-0 victory at home to Barnsley.

He's now hoping he can convince Rodgers to sign him permanently, he told the Official Site:

'I told the manager from day one that I'd like to be a Swansea player permanently,'

'Hopefully today helped the case and hopefully I can go on and start a few more games and show what else I can do.'

'It's great to be back home.

'I'm close to my family and back with my wife so it's great.

'There are some really great players here and a great manager; I feel a part of it and it's great to be here.'

Easter received a mixed reaction from the fanswhen he first arrived and some supporters even booed him when coming on as a substitute against Millwall. He's probably won most of them over now thanks to his goal yesterday that gave us a much needed 3 points.
