Neil Warnock is giving his players Christmas Day off before hosting Swansea City at Loftus Road on Boxing Day.
The QPR manager says it won't benefit the team to have training tomorrow as some players will have to do a lot of travelling, but he says he'll be able to tell instantly if any of his players have drinking and eating too much before a big game.
Warnock said:
'I've trusted them the last few years on Christmas Day to do their own thing,'
'Some would have to spend an hour or two travelling in and back for half an hour of training, and I'm not a big believer in that. I think they would be better off with their feet up.
'Besides, with the technology we have these days, like heart monitors, our fitness coach would be able to tell if they have been out drinking too much on Christmas Day.
'They know we can check up on them, put it that way.'
