Brendan Rodgers says he is pleased with how the season has gone so far, and is now looking for his team to push on in the New Year.
The Swansea City boss says he will ask his players to reflect on last season, and where things went wrong to avoid a repeat of what happened - being 4th in the table for so long before losing out on a play-off place and eventually finishing 7th.
'The quality of your life is the quality of your communication,'
'We will reflect on last season as a group because it's vitally important that we learn from what happened.
'I have got some really good senior players and I have to draw bits from them, because they are the ones who experienced it.
'We have to ask questions, see what answers we get and then learn the lessons as players and staff.'
'I am very calm about our situation because the players have been fantastic,'
'I am very proud to lead this group of men and this team because they give their all every day.
'When you work with players like that, it gives you great hope and great faith.
'I am very, very pleased with where we are as we reach halfway in the season.
'Of course we have made mistakes in games, but hopefully we can improve on them in the second part of the season, because that's what counts now.'
Rodgers is expecting a tough busy Christmas period - which starts off away at QPR on Boxing Day:
'With so many points on offer in such a short period, we can really give ourselves a jump forward going into the new year,'
'But the schedule this Christmas is very, very tough physically and I think most of the teams up there will just try to consolidate.
'QPR have lost a couple of games recently and they've drawn a couple, but they have some very good players and it will be a tight, tough contest.'
