65% Say We'll Finish In Top Two

65% Say We'll Finish In Top Two

In our poll, 65% of our readers think we will finish in the top 2 next season.

After missing out on Promotion after defeat in the Play-Off Final, chairman Huw Jenkins now wants us to go one better and go up automatically.

It won't be easy though, the expectations will be much higher than last season and there'll be pressure on the manager and players to win automatic promotion.

Teams who under-performed last season like Bristol City and Nottingham Forest will also be much better equipped than last year and will be hoping to compete within the top 6.

Despite signing just 1 player so far this summer, I suspect there'll be a few more. We haven't given up on Roger Johnson yet and I'm sure Jackett will bring in a keeper to give Gueret some competition.

POLL RESULTS:

Top 2 65%
Play-offs 19%
mid-table 6%
bottom half 2%
relegation struggle 8%

Our new poll asks how many more players you think Jackett needs for next season. You can now vote on the right hand side.

League One will be much better next season than last. Many teams underperformed last season whereas teams like Forest and Bristol City will be much better prepared. We need at least 3 players, maybe 4 to get automatic promotion.
