Shefki Kuqi said he was pleased to be back at Swansea City following a three-month loan spell at Derby County.
The Finnish striker scored 2 goals in 12 games with the Rams, but he was unable to extend his stay at Derby because of the maximum length of an emergency loan transfer.
The 34 year-old says he's looking forward to helping the team out again in their push for the Premiership, but how much involvement he'll have with the team remains to be seen.
Manager Brendan Rodgers is looking to sign a new striker and if he does that would put Kuqi even further down the pecking order.
Kuqi said:
'I am pleased to be back,'
'I had a good spell at Derby — it was nice to play some games at a nice club.
'They do everything properly and you can see from their training facilities and their stadium that they should really be in the Premier League.
'But if I can get a chance to play for Swansea again, that would be great.
'If not then we will see what happens, but I am back and I am looking to train well and stay fit.
'In football you never know what can happen. Things can change very quickly and I am not planning anything at the moment.
'I am just going to try to stay fit and do my best.
'Hopefully I will always be ready so that if the team needs me, I will be able to help as much as I can.'
Regarding a possible return to Derby County when the transfer window opens again in January, Kuqi said he was unsure if he'll be back with the Rams in the New Year:
'I don't know. Nothing was said about that, nobody said anything to me.
'I guess they could have said something and they didn't tell me anything about that.'
