Kitson Questions Swansea's Plan B
Portsmouth striker Dave Kitson questions whether or not Swansea City have a plan B because of their passing style of football.
Kitson is likely to start alongside Dave Nugent tonight - a stronger strikeforce than ours - and the striker says the team will be looking to exploit Swansea's weaknesses. Bristol City are the only team to have taken all three points from us at the Liberty Stadium this season and they showed how to approach an away game against the Swans. That night we struggled to get our passing game flowing, and we had no Plan B to recover from Stead's early goal.
Kitson says Portsmouth will be looking to do the same and exploit our weaknesses tonight:
'It will be tough,'
'But after a couple of setbacks that can be the time when you get a good reaction, regardless of who you play.
'Swansea try to play the game in the right way, in my view, by keeping the ball on the floor, moving people about to make the pitch seem big.
'If you are quick with the ball then you can create a lot of chances, but sometimes it doesn't come off and sometimes that's when you get results that you might not expect.
'I think you can see examples at all levels of football where when a team tries to play in that way they can often be outstanding, but when things are tactically right for the opposition there sometimes isn't a plan B.
'That's something that we are going to have to try to exploit.'
