Leicester To Beat Us To Bednar Loan Signing?

The Evening Post believe that Leicester City look set to beat us in the battle to sign West Brom striker Roman Bednar on loan.

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers was believed to be interested in signing Bednar before the emergency loan window ends on Thursday, but he might have to look elsewhere now for a striker.

Leicester look set to land Bednar on loan as the frontman is thought to have preferred a move near to his current club.

Despite what looks like our failure to sign Bednar, Rodgers is still looking to strengthen his strikeforce before Thursday's emergency loan deadline. If he doesn't, he'll have to wait until the New Year to bring in new players for the second half of the season.
