Bothroyd: Cardiff Don't Need Me To Beat Swans

Jay Bothroyd says Cardiff City have enough quality in the side to beat Swansea City without him, as he misses the game through suspension.

The Bluebirds will be without their top goalscorer for Sunday's South Wales derby match, but Bothroyd - who has scored 12 goals this season is confident their squad has enough quality to replace him.

"I`m gutted to be missing what is a big match for the fans, but three points are well within reach.

I love running out at home.

"The atmosphere as we go out sends a shiver down my spine.

"Cardiff fans are fantastic - I just wish I could be out there on Sunday, but Cardiff City have the players to earn the win everybody in this part of Wales craves.

"Our squad this season is tremendous and the likes of Andy Keogh and Jason Koumas are there to come in.

"Everybody at Cardiff City knows what the aim is this season.

"We go out feeling we can win every game and the players will have that belief on Sunday."
