Swans Deny Interest In Giles

Swans Deny Interest In Giles

After reporting earlier that Swansea City were lining up a bid for Martyn Giles, BBC SPORT are now saying Jackett has denied any interest in the Carmarthen defender.

The Evening Post were the first to publish news that we were interested in Giles but it seems now that it's no more than a false rumour.

BBC's article today begins: Swansea City manager Kenny Jackett has denied rumours he is interested in Carmarthen Town defender Martyn Giles.

The former Cardiff City and Wales Under-21 player, 23, had trained at the Liberty Stadium last season.

There's been no quotes from Jackett recently on how things stand with the 23 year-old defender but hopefully we'll gain confirmation from the Swans boss soon on the subject.

Dunno. Mark Delaney used to play for Carmarthen too. If he's good enough he'll get into the side. OTJ is the example for him to follow if he signs.

to be honest im quite happy that we arent going in for him after his team lost 5-0 the other day and he started in defence.
