QPR manager Neil Warnock complimented Swansea City Football Club after watching his side draw 0-0 with the Swans at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night.
Forever outspoken and never one to shy away from speaking about to the press, Warnock was very complimentary of the Swans in his post-match press conference, and has said on more than one occasion that he enjoys the Welsh hospitality when he visits South Wales.
The 61 year-old said he thoroughly enjoyed Tuesday night's match - 'a good advertisement for the Championship', and he believes QPR and the Swans are 2 out of 8 clubs who can challenge for promotion this season.
He's also an admirer of our young manager, Brendan Rodgers and says the Swans will benefit from him - as he'll learn from his previous mistakes - one of them being his decision to leave Watford for Reading in July 2009.
'He's made some bad decisions... but I've a lot of time for him,'
'You learn by your mistakes and Swansea are going to benefit from his bad decisions as he's got things to prove.'
'Brendan's a good young manager and he's like any young manager - you learn by experience,'
'He's got a lovely team, a lovely club. I'm a big admirer of [Garry] Monk, their captain, and the way they are, the way they go about their business - good old fashioned players.'
'I think there's eight teams above the rest if I'm honest.
'I'm sure Brendan feels the same, I love having a team that can go anywhere and win.
'I've always looked at Manchester United and Chelsea and thought that it must be brilliant to expect to win every week and that's how I feel at the moment.'
Tuesday's draw means the Swans slip down to 6th in the League while QPR's lead at the top was cut to 2 points ahead of Cardiff City. Leicester City are next up at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday and they've experienced an improvement in form since Paulo Sousa was sacked.
