Rangel: Getting Back In The Side Will Be Difficult

Angel Rangel admits that it will be difficult to get back into the first team after spending 6 months out injured.

The Spaniard is fully recovered now from a thigh injury and he gives boss Brendan Rodgers a welcome boost ahead of Saturday's home game against Derby County.

Rangel admits that it will be difficult to get his first team place back, as full backs Alan Tate and Neil Taylor have both been performing consistently well during his absence.

'I think everyone is trying to make it difficult for the manager,'

'You can see that we probably have two good players in every position which will make a difference because it's long season.

'You need more than 11 players and so far whoever has played has been fantastic.

'It's difficult to get into the back four so personally for me it's not great, but collectively as a team it is and hopefully with that we can improve on last season.'
