Rodgers: There's A Lot More To Come From Sinclair

Brendan Rodgers has praised Scott Sinclair and says there's still a lot more to come from the young winger, after he scored his 8th goal for Swansea City in Tuesday's 3-2 win at Watford.

Saying Sinclair has impressed so far is an understatement, as he's performed brilliantly in every game since his £500,000 move from Chelsea.

Rodgers says Sinclair looks like scoring in every game and there's a lot more to come from him:

'Scott looks like he can score in every game he plays, no matter who the opponent is,' said the Swansea boss. It's doesn't matter whether it's a big game or whatever, his target is to score every time he goes on to the pitch and he looks capable of doing it.

'He has eight goals so far and I think there's a lot more to come.'


Rodgers added that Sinclair is a Premier League talent:

'Scott is a Premier League talent, but he needs to play,'

'He needs games under his belt over the next couple of years.

'He is very hard to contain — I saw him looking hard to contain when he was playing Premier League games at 17. He is a player who for sure will be in the Premier League over the next three or four years and we hope it's with us.

'If it's not, I'm sure his talents will take him there.'
