Tate: Swansea Squad 'Definitely The Best'

Alan Tate has hailed the current Swansea City squad as the best he's ever played with.

The former Manchester United trainee, who has been at the club for nearly 8 years is a massive fans favourite at Swansea City for his dedication and loyalty ever since he first joined.

Tate is now playing under his 5th boss as Brendan Rodgers looks to take us into a new exciting era. Roberto Martinez and Paulo Sousa have both come close to getting us into the Championship play-offs - now can the new manager take us one step further?

The versatile player seems confident that the current squad has enough quality to do so:

'It's definitely the best,'

'We've got pace out wide; strength in depth; we've got goals in us; we're not too bad at the back and have cover in almost every position.

'There's no reason why this squad can't achieve its goals and hopefully get a chance to get up to the Premier League.'
