Ipswich Boss Keane On Beattie Move?

Ipswich Boss Keane On Beattie Move?

SkySports are reporting that Ipswich Town boss Roy Keane is interested in a possible move for striker Craig Beattie.

The former Manchester United midfielder is thought to be an admirer of the striker as he knows Beattie from his days at Celtic.

Beattie has experienced no end of injury problems which has meant that for the majority of his time at Swansea City he has been on the sidelines rather than on the pitch.

The former West Brom frontman is close to returning from injury and Brendan Rodgers may decide to loan him out for him get first team experience.

Coincidentally, Craig Beattie scored his first goal for Swansea City against Ipswich Town in October 2009.
