Rodgers: We Won't Take Peterborough Lightly

Brendan Rodgers says he's looking forward to tonight's game and insists he won't be taking Peterborough United 'lightly' as we aim to reach the 4th round of the Carling Cup.

The Swans travel to the Posh for this evening's 7:45pm kick off, and you can follow the game right here with team news, updates and live discussion.

Rodgers made a number of changes to his team for the second round game away at Tranmere Rovers, and although he's expected to make more changes tonight, the Swansea City boss says he won't be taking tonight's opposition lightly.

'We're looking forward to the game,'

'We had a terrific week with two victories and the mood in the camp is very, very good.

'We've been doing very well and this is a game we certainly won't take lightly.

'And our intention is to go there and win the game.'

Rodgers has no fresh injury concerns following Saturday's win against Scunthorpe United.

Frank Nouble is ineligible to play as West Ham haven't given permission for the loanee to feature for the Swans in the Carling Cup. Angel Rangel, Gorka Pintado, Craig Beattie, Tom Butler and Ferrie Bodde are still all out injured.

New goalkeeper Yves Makabu-Makalambay expects to make his debut this evening, while Dobbie is sure to start up front due to the absence of Nouble, plus the fact that Kuqi has been loaned out to Derby County. The Finnish striker scored in both Carling Cup ties for the Swans.
