Nouble: Swansea Move Is A Great Opportunity

New loan signing Frank Nouble says joining Swansea City on loan is a great opportunity for him to play more regular first team football.

The striker's 3-month loan move from West Ham United has now been officially confirmed and he's available to play in tomorrow's home League game against Scunthorpe United.

Nouble spoke to the Official Site and said:

'I think I've come to Swansea at a good time early in the season,''

'I've been doing well at West Ham recently, but I wanted to play more games and show what I can do. Coming to Swansea is a great opportunity for me to do that.

'Swansea keep the ball well and hopefully I can score some goals while I'm here. As a striker you always need to score goals. I've done it in the past and I'm sure I can keep doing it.

'I'm fit and raring to go.''

'I'm looking forward to it because it's been on the cards for a few weeks,'' added Nouble.

'It's good to have good people around you - and Brendan Rodgers is one of those.

'He helped me a lot at Chelsea when I was a young player in the Youth and Reserves. We worked together for a few years and we meet again, which is good.''


Brendan Rodgers will be delighted to see the arrival of a striker as it's been his priority ever since he was appointed as manager. Kuqi's loan to Derby County meant Dobbie was the only striker available, but Nouble will give Rodgers more forward options for tomorrow's game.
