Fede Bessone shares his thoughts ahead of Saturday's game as he faces his former team-mates at Elland Road.
The Argentinian left back decided to leave the Liberty Stadium this Summer when his contract expired to join Leeds, who won promotion to the Championship in May.
Bessone is predicting a tough game against the Swans on Saturday as he believes, like last season, that we're capable of reaching the top 6.
'I was there two years and it did my confidence good, particularly last year,'
'The first season, under Martinez we played well, but last season we played much better.
'We were in the top-six all season and, in my opinion, we were playing the best football in the Championship, but sometimes that isn't good enough.
'We lost a couple of games and Blackpool got in there in the end and deserved that.
'Swansea have the same team. They will try to play and I think they will do well. They have a good manager and they are working hard.
'They will try to be in the top-six again, and they can do it, but I came here because I believe we can be top-six. I think we have a good squad and we have to work to that.'
'Swansea is a good club, but for me, I've never seen people like here, believing in us and each other,'
'The difference between the two clubs is the history because Leeds has a massive history.
'I do keep in touch with the guys there and I know a lot of them, but it's all about getting the win on Saturday and it's the same as any other game.'
Bessone hasn't had the best of starts in Yorkshire and many Leeds fans haven't been happy with his performances so far this season. The player also admits he hasn't played at his best and is looking to improve each game:
'I've not played at my best yet,'
'I need to show a lot of things much better. I'm trying to grow in confidence every game and I feel I am getting better.
'I'm getting more confident with team-mates. Hopefully I will try and get forward more. We've had some difficult games, but I want to keep improving.'
