Agustien Arrives In Swansea To Discuss Move

Kemy Agustien has arrived in Swansea this week to hopefully complete a permanent move to the Liberty Stadium.

The Evening Post reports today that the 24 year-old midfielder travelled over to South Wales last night to complete a move once he has passed a medical.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has been very keen to sign the Dutchman after a successful trial during the Holland Tour at the end of July, but a move has been delayed since then after he picked up a knee ligament injury.

Agustien is now close to full fitness and hopefully we'll hear the official news this week that he has put pen to paper at Swansea City.

Despite the transfer window closing at the end of August, Agustien will be available to sign for the Swans as he is now a free agent after his club Alkmaar cancelled his contract.

The 24 year-old's arrival would boost Rodgers' central midfield options - the manager is also looking to sign West Ham United striker Frank Nouble and Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury on loan.
