Rodgers: Disappointment With Motivate Us

Brendan Rodgers said he was happy with the performance but extremely disappointed to lose today's game 2-0 at Norwich City.

Swansea City struggled for the first 25 minutes but from then on we controlled the majority of the game, but after missing a penalty late on, we conceded twice in the final few minutes to lose a game we deserved to at least get a point from.

The Swans missed a host of chances after creating more than enough to win the game.

Rodgers told the Official Site:

'Performance wise it was very good so it was extremely disappointing to lose the game so late on,'

'At the very least we deserved to take a point away from the game and I'm sure Paul Lambert would acknowledge that.

'For the first 10-15 minutes their shape gave us a few problems but after that I thought we had good control of the game. Our passing and movement was excellent, we created chances but we just couldn't take them.

'We had the chances to win the game, didn't take them, and now we have just got to take it on the chin and move on.

'I'm sure the disappointment will motivate us because they are a terrific group of lads who work hard and really want to do well.'
