Cotterill: Norwich Won't Be An Easy Game

David Cotterill says the Swans can't get too carried away after enjoying a 4-0 win against Preston North End last weekend.

Brendan Rodgers takes his side to Championship new-boys Norwich City on Saturday and Cotterill is expecting another tough match at Carrow Road.

The winger has impressed recently for both Wales and Swansea City. He scored his first international goal as Wales eased past Luxembourg last week, before returning for the Swans on Saturday to score from the penalty spot in a 4-0 victory against Preston.

With the arrival of Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair, who started at left back last weekend, Cotterill moved into a new role - playing just behind Stephen Dobbie in an attacking midfield role. Manager Brendan Rodgers told Swans Player that he was impressed with how quickly he was able to adapt to his new position.

Cotterill helped to provide some good chances for Dobbie in the middle, and the arrival of Sinclair is likely to mean that Cotterill will be playing that central role far more often this year.

'We're not going to get carried away,'

'We've got a great bunch of lads here. We know what we want to do this year and hopefully take confidence from the game [against Preston] into Saturday's game [at Norwich].'

'They've just come up from League One, they have good players and are a big club, so we can't take anything for granted.

'Every game in the Championship is tough so we're not expecting an easy ride up there.'

won't be anywhere as easy as preston were. i just hope our attacking style doesn't make us too vulnerable at the back away from home, norwich will be a decent test against that
