Ferguson: We're A Better Team Now

Preston North End boss Darren Ferguson says Swansea City will be up against a much improved Preston team tomorrow, compared to the one that we beat 2-0 at home last season.

Paulo Sousa's side dominated last year's match at the Liberty Stadium against the Lilywhites, but Ferguson he has much more quality in his squad now, after making a number of player changes during the Summer.

'Our team has changed a lot since we last played at Swansea,'

'We have a lot more pace in the team now, and if we get hold of the ball we have the ability to counter-attack well.

'We've got fast legs in the team added to some good experience.'

Darren, son of Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson, signed 7 new players in pre-season and released 10, but despite the new signings they are still one of the favourites for relegation with the bookmakers.

Ferguson says his team will need to be disciplined tomorrow to get a result against the Swans:

'The Championship is the best example of you being capable of winning any game you play,'

'Against Swansea we will have to be disciplined, patient when they have the ball and good in possession when we have it.

'When we went there last season it was a long 90 minutes, we struggled.

'The way Swansea play is that they wait until someone switches off and then try to capitalise on it.

'Hopefully we can put in a good performance and come away with a result.'
