Bond Leaves Swansea City For Neath

Chad Bond has left the club to join Neath, and joins former Swansea team-mates Chris Jones, Kristian O'Leary and Lee Trundle at the Gnoll.

The 23 year-old forward has been with the club since 2000 and was first offered a professional contract in 2003. Former manager Kenny Jackett released him in 2005 but he was recalled by Roberto Martinez shortly after his arrival as manager.

The youngster has struggled to come close to making his way into the first team and has had loan spells with various clubs in recent seasons including Newport County, CF Balaguer and Ístersunds FK.

Bond has signed a one-year contract at the Gnoll.

In all fairness to the young lad he should have left in 2005 when Jackett released him
