Agent: Rangel Wants To Fulfil Premiership Dream

Agent: Rangel Wants To Fulfil Premiership Dream

Angel Rangel's agent is hoping that Swansea City allow his client Angel Rangel to leave the club to fulfil his Premiership dream.

Xavi Cruz, who is also the Spaniard's brother-in-law, says Rangel wants to play in the Premiership 'as soon as possible' as Blackpool have had a bid rejected for the 27 year-old.

The right back has shown a keen interest to leave the Liberty Stadium, and despite the quality he gives us in defence, fans are becoming more and more frustrated with his lack of commitment for the Swans.

Cruz said:

'It is the chance for Angel to fulfil his dream, which is to play in the Premier League,'

'Angel wants to be in the Premier League as soon as possible.

'We have been talking with the chairman during the last week and he understands the situation because this is not the first time that Angel has had the chance to play in the Premier League.

'We don't think about this option (not moving) because we trust the chairman, and he said he would do the best for the club and the player. To play in the Premier League is the dream of Angel's life.'

Speculation about Rangel's future started last week during the Holland Tour when he didn't play for our second match at VC Sparta. He was back for the final game at Ado Den Haag but very reluctantly as he is very keen to leave for Premiership new-boys Blackpool.
