Wycombe Reject Johnson Bid

Wycombe Reject Johnson Bid

Wycombe Wanderers have rejected our £100,000 for defender Roger Johnson, putting to bed the rumours we had posted up last night.

A few things suggested yesterday that he was close to signing, including the ever reliable News of The World reporting that the bid looked to have been accepted.

He was also seen in Swansea apparantly while an article comment was posted saying the club will be unveiling a new signing today.

Wycombe's Official site reports today that the bid we placed on Friday was instantly turned down.

Steve Hayes said: 'Roger is our captain. He's an extremely committed player and we want to keep him at the club.'
