Swansea Manager Rodgers 'Very Impressed' So Far

Brendan Rodgers says he's been 'very impressed' so far after taking his first training sessions since being appointed as our new manager.

The new boss has been in charge for little under a week now and he was in stands last night as he watched his new team beat Llanelli 5-1 at Stebonheath Park.

Rodgers told the Official Site:

'I've seen plenty of quality here; some outstanding talent,''

'They like to play with charisma and aggression here. It's been built into their DNA over the last few years and you can see it on the training ground and the pitch.

'They've really worked hard and taken everything on board. I've been very impressed with their application.''

Swansea City are next in action on Saturday 24th July as they host Cheltenham Town at the Liberty Stadium (kick off at 3pm), and Rodgers will name his first match-squad before the Holland Tour begins next week.
