Rodgers Set For Swansea City Job

Rodgers Set For Swansea City Job

Former Watford and Reading boss Brendan Rodgers looks set to take over as Swansea City's new manager.

by Pintado
"I feel he is the best option with the options we had left."
It has yet to be confirmed, but various sources are reporting that Rodgers has agreed to take join the club after being offered the job last night.

Chairman Huw Jenkins has failed with a number of other targets - including Gary Speed, as Sheffield United rejected 2 approaches to speak with their first team coach. We've now moved to look at other targets, and Rodgers could be unveiled as our new manager by the weekend.

Vital Swansea will profile our new manager as soon as he is officially unveiled by the club, and get some thoughts from Reading and Watford fans to see what we can expect from the 37 year-old - if he is appointed.

I feel sorry for you. Look forward to constant references to his previous experience working with Mourinho, crap excuses for defeats and sideways/boring football.
