Kuqi's Brother In Action For Swans Today?

Shefki Kuqi's brother, Njazi, could be in action for Swansea City today having arrived for a 1-week trial.

Coaches Colin Pascoe and Alan Curtis will take a look at the 27 year-old striker this week, and he could feature in today's friendly against Port Talbot Town at The GenQuip Stadium (3pm).

The two brothers played together at German side TuS Koblenz until Kuqi joined the Swans on a free in January.

Shefki said it would be a dream to play alongside his brother at the Liberty Stadium next season:

'It would be a dream for us both to play together for Swansea,''

'We are very close as brothers and can read each other well.

'But we are different types of footballers. Although he is tall, like me, he prefers to have the ball at his feet. But I'm better in the air,''

Njazi has had spells at Birmingham, Blackpool and Peterborough. He joined Koblenz in 2008 and has scored 9 goals in 38 appearances for the club. In comparison, his brother Shefki netted 14 goals in 17 games at Koblenz, but he's been unable to repeat that goalscoring record at Swansea City.

Swansea City fans will also get the first opportunity this afternoon to see new Summer signings Neil Taylor and Scott Donnelly in action.

Tickets are priced at £7 adults, £5 concessions and £2 Under-11s.
