Southgate Favourite For Swansea City Job

Gareth Southgate has emerged as the early favourite amongst bookmakers Victor Chandler to become Swansea City's new manager.

The club confirmed Paulo Sousa's departure by mutual consent this morning and he is set to be unveiled as the new boss at Leicester City.

Gareth Southgate, who was sacked by Middlesbrough in October 2009, has been an ITV pundit during their World Cup coverage and he's the favourite at 5/2- ahead of Exeter City boss Steve Tisdale 11/2. Skybet offer different odds, and have Tisdale as favourite at 4/1, with Southgate at 5/1.
