Sousa Joins Leicester City Says Portuguese Press

Sousa Joins Leicester City Says Portuguese Press

Paulo Sousa has signed a three-year deal to join Leicester City, according to a Portuguese newspaper.

In a brief article on the Daily Record (www.record.xl.pt), roughly translated, they report that he's signed a three year deal at the Walkers Stadium after 'reaching a stalemate' at Swansea City.

"step backwards for him, Leicester dont play his style of football. He won't be there long."
His management career will now continue with the Foxes according to the Daily Record, with promotion being the 'big goal'.

Speculation has been very strong this week that Sousa is about to leave the Liberty Stadium to join Leicester, and many sources now say that it'll be announced as soon as compensation has been agreed. The 39 year-old still has two years to run on his current contract.

The Sun, jumping the gun I'm sure, reported a few days ago that Sousa agreed terms at Leicester and inevitably their sister paper soon followed with their own report today that he's leaving the Swans.

Now it seems that it's just a matter of 'when' not 'if' the move will be officially announced, and us fans are all eagerly waiting to hear a final say from Swansea City Football Club about who our manager will be for the new season.
