Orlandi Expected To Sign New Swansea City Deal
Andrea Orlandi looks set to sign a new contract with Swansea City, according to the Evening Post.
There have been a lot of doubts surrounding the midfielder's future at the club and delaying his decision to sign or reject a new contract offer.
His current deal has expired, but after returning home this week from his native Spain, he is expected to put pen to paper soon to stay on at the Liberty Stadium.
The 25 year-old has only shown glimpses of his potential since joining the club in 2007. Injuries have hindered his progress here but even when he was fit former boss Roberto Martinez rarely played him.
Paulo Sousa came in and gave him a bigger opportunity in the first team last season as he made 22 League starts, compared to just 7 appearances in his first two years at the club.
Some fans weren't overly impressed with his performances last season but after losing Leon Britton and possibly Darren Pratley, we don't want to lose another midfielder.
