Swansea City Rule Out Danns Interest
Swansea City have ruled out recent news suggesting they are interested in signing Crystal Palace midfielder Neil Danns.
Chairman Huw Jenkins admitted that he was a target back in the spring, but at the moment they're not looking to sign him.
Jenkins wonders if somebody is just trying to get some interest in the player considering Palace's big financial problems. He told the Evening Post:
'Perhaps somebody is looking to drum up a bit of interest because of the financial situation at Crystal Palace,'
'We were interested in Neil Danns last season. He was somebody we looked at, although he was just one of a number of players on a list we had.
'I don't know why the stories have come up again, though, because at the moment we are not in for Neil Danns.'
