No Return For Burnley Loanee David Edgar

No Return For Burnley Loanee David Edgar

Huw Jenkins has ruled out a return for on-loan Burnley defender David Edgar, according to the Evening Post.

They haven't included any quotes from the chairman saying he won't be returning, but the Swans will now look for other defensive targets as Edgar has returned to relegated Premiership Burnley.

Edgar came in and did a good job at the back and helped ease our lack of left full backs - with injuries to Alan Tate and Fede Bessone.

Jenkins also revealed that that manager Paulo Sousa is looking for new players across the pitch in all positions:

'There is no definite news on any new signings at the moment.

'There is a lot of talking going on, but a lot of players are away on holiday and agents are hard to get hold at this time of year.

'We are striving to do our best in the transfer market because Paulo is looking at bringing players in all over the pitch.'
