Still Doubts Over Dobbie & Trundle's Future

There are still doubts over the futures of striker duo Lee Trundle and Stephen Dobbie.

It's still not yet known as to whether or not the two players will still be at the Liberty Stadium next season.

Lee Trundle, on loan with the Swans last season, has been released by Bristol City, while it's possible that Dobbie could make his loan move to Blackpool permanent.

The Mirror reported this week that Blackpool could pay us 500,000 for the Scot, but I've yet to read a Swansea City related story in that newspaper that's ever come true.

It's becoming more and more suggestive that Paulo Sousa doesn't see the two strikers as part of his squad for next season. Trundle was rarely used last year, while Dobbie was mostly an unused substitute before going out on loan to enjoy a play-off winning campaign at Blackpool.

Lee Trundle says he'd like to stay and is set to have meetings this weekend:

'I'm still waiting to hear back from Swansea and I'm set to meet with them for talks this weekend, so hopefully I will be able to get something done with them.

'If not, then I will have to take a little look around and see what is out there for me.

'I've said before that Swansea is a club that I'd like to be at and it is a place where I'd like to finish my career, but things happen in football that change things.

'I will wait to see what Swansea say and take it from there.'

Poor management let them both know where they stand. Instead of doing newspaper articles trying to decide England's best formation etc manage the team and find us some goal scorers PLEASE
