Richards 'Proud' To Sign New Swansea City Deal

Swansea City have been boosted today with the news that Jazz Richards has signed a new 2-year contract.

The Swans risked losing one of our biggest young prospects this Summer as his current contract expired, but the Swansea-born player has committed his future to the club.

There was speculation recently that Sheffield United were looking to sign the 19 year-old, but Richards said he was proud to sign a new deal at the Liberty Stadium.

'It was a steep learning curve at times, especially playing at full-back, but I thoroughly enjoyed it,'

'I'm a Swansea boy and I'm proud to finally agree the new contract.'

Richards was voted Young Player of the Year and made 10 starts last season.
