Forest Boss To Make New Bid For Pratley

According to reports from the media today, Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies is set to make a fresh bid for midfielder Darren Pratley.

Davies met with Forest chairman Nigel Doughty this week regarding the club's future. Apparently Doughty wasn't pleased regarding Davies' interviews when he said he'd be interested in the Celtic job.

Following talks to reassure themselves of their future, they discussed Summer targets and according to the Nottingham Post, Darren Pratley is at the top of Billy's wanted list.

The Scot attempted to sign the former Fulham midfielder in January but he failed following a rejected 2m bid.

We were always expecting a tough task during pre-season to keep hold of our key assets, especially Darren Pratley, but hopefully the board will reject bids and convince the player that his future lies at the Liberty Stadium.
