'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sousa: We Still Have A Big Chance Of Top 6

Swansea City boss Paulo Sousa said that some of his players were crying after last Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Sheffield United, but they now have a chance of drying their eyes on Sunday when we face Doncaster Rovers at home.

It's out of our hands now, a win for us wouldn't guarantee a play-off place, we need Bristol City to hold Blackpool to a draw or better to give us a chance.

Sousa told the Evening Post:

'Some of our players were crying after Sheffield,'

'It was not so nice because we deserved much more than we got, but it means a lot to me that they feel like that.

'I wasn't surprised to see them like that — I work with them every day, so I know the character I have in my team. But we should keep believing.

'Everything is possible and I am confident that we can still get into the play-offs.

'I have said before that we have had no luck this season.

'Maybe we will finally get some now, on the last day.

'In football, like in life, you always have a chance until the moment you are not alive, and on Sunday I believe we have a big chance.'

Talking about our opposition, Doncaster, Sousa added:

'They are a club who like to play football,'

'From what I can see all their players enjoy that and I think that they will be enthusiastic about playing good football against us.

'We will need to be at our best to win this game.'
