Bid Rejected For Rochdale Defender

Bid Rejected For Rochdale Defender

According to reports, Swansea City had a bid rejected last month for Rochdale defender Craig Dawson.

The Evening Post believe that we offered just under £1million for the highly-rated 19 year-old, while a Premiership club, possibly Fulham had an even higher bid rejected.

Dawson was named League Two Player of the Year last season and this term he has netted 10 goals, which has helped Rochdale win promotion to League One.

Swansea City look highly unlikely to sign Dawson, as Premiership clubs are also showing an interest - they have the money and the pulling power to put them well ahead in the race to sign the young prospect.
