Sousa Confident His Side Can Win Play-Offs

Paulo Sousa is still as confident as ever and says his side have a 'big chance' of winning the play-offs if we get there.

Though many Swansea City fans probably wouldn't share his strong confidence of our chances in the play-offs considering our drop in form over the last few months.

A win tomorrow should certainly give it a big boost though as we face a tricky task away at Sheffield United, before playing our 46th game, hopefully not our last of the season at home to Doncaster Rovers.

Sousa has full confidence in his team that they can be successful if they compete in the play-offs:

'We would have big chances if we make the play-offs — I still think we would win them.

'With the type of players we have and the motivation the play-offs would bring to them and to everyone else, we would have enough to handle it.

'People say the play-offs are hard to predict — I agree with that.

'But I am so confident in my players and what they can achieve.'

'I don't care who we play. Probably at the moment you would say we are going to play Nottingham. That is good because they will probably rest players and give us more of a chance.

'But I wouldn't mind playing Cardiff.

'We played better than them in the two games this season. We deserved to win them both and I understand why they don't want to play us.

'Probably they think we are a better side than them.'
