Cotterill: I Owe Swansea City A Favour

David Cotterill says he owes Swansea City a favour after he scored a penalty against them last year which ended their play-off hopes.

His goal for Sheffield United near the end of last season gave the Blades a 1-0 win at Bramall Lane which ended our chances of finishing in the play-offs.

The Swans face Sheffield United on Saturday but hopefully we can give our play-off bid a big boost with a win.

Cotterill told BBC Sport:

'Last year I was concentrating on what I could do for Sheffield Utd,'

'This year, hopefully I will be on the other foot and if I'm stepping up to take a penalty or have a chance to score, it will get those vital three points for the team.'

'Kevin [Blackwell] will not accept anything and he will want a result and he will want the team to build for next season,'
