Sousa Very Happy With His Side's Performance

Paulo Sousa was 'very happy' with his side's performance in today's 3-1 win at home to Barnsley.

The Swansea City boss said his side wanted that win 'badly' as Blackpool continue to push us all the way for a play off spot as they beat Nottingham Forest 3-1.

Sousa said:

'We needed that result and wanted it badly but we have trained hard and are getting stronger every game.

'I am very happy with the performance and everyone showed responsibility on the pitch.

'I never felt it necessary to shut up shop once we had a two-goal lead as I am not like that.

'Nothing has changed in the race for the play-offs but I feel very comfortable with my side.

'We need to focus on our own high levels and if we have to win our last two games then so be it.

'I have only seen misses like Kuqi's on videos but I am very glad he scored a goal to make up for it.'
