Former Swansea and Welsh international striker Ian Walsh insists that manager Paulo Sousa must stop making constant changes to his team.
Walsh, who commentated on yesterday's 1-0 defeat at Bristol City says that Sousa must now keep a consistent team to boost their hopes of finishing in the play-offs.
Paulo Sousa made 6 changes for Monday's 3-0 home win against Scunthorpe United, and yesterday he swapped 3 players. Walsh believes that the players shouldn't be tired to force Sousa to keep tinkering with his side, he told BBC:
'Tiredness shouldn't be an issue with three games left, you have to play your most potent side,'
'There was a good 3-0 win on Monday when the midfield played well and Shefki Kuqi got his goal up front.
'All of a sudden, five days later he's changing players out there - that has to end.
'I'd like to know why Leon Britton is not involved. For me, he holds together the midfield - and that area didn't function against Bristol.
'It was a very tired, jaded performance. Swansea have to play their best side if they are to get to those play-off positions.'
Swansea City had the chance to extend the gap from 7th-placed Blackpool after they lost to Newcastle United, but the pressure is on us now to get win at home next weekend when Barnsley visit the Liberty Stadium.![]()
