Swansea City boss Paulo Sousa has made 6 changes to the side that lost to Cardiff City 2-1 on Saturday.

Garry Monk returns to skipper the side as Alan Tate is dropped to the bench.

Joe Allen, Mark Gower and David Cotterill return in midfield in place of Andrea Orlandi, Darren Pratley and Cedric van Der Gun - the Dutchman isn't even on the bench today.

Guillem Bauza also starts along with Shefki Kuqi.

De Vries, Monk, Edgar, Williams, Rangel, Dyer, Gower, Cotterill, Allen, Bauza, Kuqi.

Subs - Cornell, Tate, Pratley, Orlandi, Pintado, Trundle, Butler.

SCUNTHORPE UNITED:

Murphy, Williams, Byrne, Sparrow, McCann, Hayes, Thompson, Wright, McDermott, Canavan, Raynes.

Subs - Lillis, Wright, Hooper, Forte, Woolford, Godden, McNulty.
