De Vries: We've Got To Stay Positive

Goalkeeper Dorus De Vries says we've to stay positive after yesterday's defeat to Cardiff City.

Paulo Sousa's side are still struggling for victories and our drop in form in recent weeks has seen Blackpool in 7th close the gap to just 2 points.

Yet again, we've gone a goal in front but let our 1-0 lead slip away - it's happened far too many times this season, but hopefully it won't cost us a top 6 place.

De Vries says we must stay positive, and we host Scunthorpe United on Monday as we look to get our first win in 7:

'It's a tough game, but we've got to keep our chins up and stay positive.

'We could have won it after taking a good lead. But we couldn't get the second one and it cost us.

'Unfortunately Chopra gambled twice and they both came off.

'But we are still in a good position and we've got to put this game behind us against Scunthorpe on Monday.

'There's always pressure, but you've got to forget about this one and look forward to the next one.'

Oh to have a player like Chopra who takes a risk--you have to gamble sometimes to succeed.
